Last weekend, McKenzi raced in Fletcher, OK at Ridgeline MX. She had a bit of bad luck because out of the four motos she raced... one she broke down and one she stalled out. She is still doing well in her over-all standings for the season and is third in her Stock 90 class and in the top five of her Sr. Mini class for the Texoma Quad Racing Association (TQRA). We have met some great people at the track and are building some life-long friendships. It's hard to believe that McKenzi would actually enjoy doing this because she doesn't really like to sweat or get dirty for that matter, but she loves going out there. She surprises me sometimes at how competitive she can be. She's really not that way about most other sporting activities. I guess she gets that from her grandaddy!

New Beginnings
Well, I thought I would try my hand at this blogging thing. Seems like everyone is doing it. I've recently had some new friends send me links to their blogs, and I think it is a really neat way for friends and family to keep in touch. Since we now live so far away from our family and most of our friends, this will be a convenient way to keep everyone up to date on our current happenings. I really can't believe I'm doing this since I don't like to write, so I will probably use it mostly for posting pictures and updates of our racing...which tends to be what we do most of the time.

Great site you have here! You are so right about Kenzi and her willingness to compete in this 'BOY' sport. You and Kelly are brewing a future champion. And by the way, it's OK to blame the mechanic for the bad luck this weekend. Mike Cole-REDBOMBER RACING.
